Tickets are now on sale for the annual “Breakfast with the Bunny.” Tickets may be purchased only at Avid Reader Active in Downtown Davis and at Common Grounds in South Davis. Only 200 tickets are available at $10 each, for adults and children. All children must be accompanied at Breakfast with the Bunny by a responsible adult.
“Over the years, Breakfast with the Bunny has proven to be a very popular event in Davis,” said event Co-chair Lea Rosenberg. “And this year we have added some new features and attractions – an egg hunt and a children’s carnival. Tickets go fast, and it’s first come, first served.”
Ticket holders will start the morning off at 9 a.m. at the Davis Odd Fellows Lodge Hall, 415 2nd Street, with a Continental Breakfast, for all the adults and children. After breakfast, the children will walk just a few short blocks to a grassy area in the downtown. In a new feature, the children will go on an egg hunt – searching for chocolate eggs. Following the egg hunt, children and adults will gather back at the Odd Fellows Lodge for the “Eggstravaganza”, where participants can ply their skills in various arts and crafts projects such as cookie decorating, jewelry making, making Easter cards. and more. In addition, this year the Eggstravaganza will also include a fun children’s carnival with games for the children. The children can also get their faces painted, or pose for artist’s caricatures of their faces. And, of course, the children get to meet “The Bunny”. The event usually ends just just before noon.
“It’s really a fun event for the children,” said Rosenberg. “The Odd Fellows love putting on Breakfast with the Bunny for the community, and the children and adults who participate all have a wonderful time.”
