The Davis Rebekah Lodge invites the public to its Third Annual Rebekah Lodge Crab Feed to be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Odd Fellows Lodge Hall, 415 Second Street. The crab feed is a charitable fundraiser, open to the general public.

“If you like crab, this is the place. Our first and second annual crab feeds were so popular and such a success, we thought we’d better do it again,” said Noble Grand Lea Rosenberg. “Many people told us it was the best crab ever.”

Only 160 tickets will be printed for the crab feed, and tickets go on sale on January 4 at the Avid Reader Active on Second Street. It is not anticipated that any tickets will remain to be sold at the door. “Last year tickets went quickly, said Rosenberg. “We had a sell-out well in advance of the crab feed. So I certainly urge folks to buy their tickets soon.”

Tickets are $40 per person and participants will get lots of fresh cracked crab, pasta, salad, bread and drawn butter, as well as dessert. The Rebekah Crab Feed also features a silent auction and a full no-host bar. A few tables of 8 may also be reserved for $320, subject to availability. Folks who wish to reserve an entire table of 8 should contact Lea Rosenberg directly at learose@jps.net.

All proceeds from the Rebekah Lodge Crab Feed will be used for the benefit of children from low and very low income families in Davis.

The Davis Rebekah Lodge is a Lodge of 35 women and men who, in partnership with the Davis Odd Fellows, own the Davis Odd Fellows Lodge Hall. The Davis Rebekah Lodge has been chartered (originally under the name of the Davisville Rebekah Lodge) since 1901.
