Ring in 2015 with traditional style, bubbly champagne, and great music at the “Odd Fellows New Year’s Eve Party with Mumbo Gumbo”. The party will be held at the Odd Fellows Lodge Hall, 415 2nd Street, in Downtown Davis.
Doors open on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. and the music starts at 9:00 p.m. – and the party continues into Thursday, January 1, 2015.
Tickets are $40 each. Ticket sales are limited to 225.
The price of admission includes Mumbo Gumbo, a premier local musical group, providing popular listening and dancing music, gumbo and cornbread, party favors, and the traditional champagne toast at midnight. No host bars will be open in both the Upper and the Lower Halls at the Odd Fellows Lodge Hall.
“We will feature a dance party in the Upper Hall with Mumbo Gumbo,” said Juelie Roggli, Chair of the New Year’s Party, “and in the Lower Hall we will have a casual setting where folks can watch the big screen television showing New Year’s Eve shows. Gumbo and cornbread will be served during the evening. The Odd Fellows hope this will be the start of a new tradition in town with a good-old-fashioned New Year’s Party for the community. And we’re delighted to feature the very popular and entertaining Mumbo Gumbo on New Year’s Eve.”
Starting December 1, tickets are available at Common Grounds in South Davis and at Avid Reader Active in Downtown Davis. Tickets may also be purchased online at
