Every year, Odd Fellows go to the camp for a day or two or even a week, for “work week” to help paint, rake, repair and ready the camp for summer. If YOU and family members want to help out during work week, please let me know and I will shoot you more information. Work week this year is June 22 to 26 (followed by a camp festival on June 27-28). The camp will feed you during work week, and you can stay in a cabin, or bring your tent or camper.

10. Reception for Dave Rosenberg and Donna Morrison. We are a sponsor of the annual reception for the Grand Master and the Rebekah President to be held on September 12. This year, the Grand Master comes from our own Lodge – Dave Rosenberg. Let’s have a really good turnout to the reception to honor Dave. This is the first Grand Master from the Davis Lodge in the 166 year history of IOOF in California. The invitation is attached. You can RSVP now.

11. New Committee Formed. Say hello to our 34th Davis Odd Fellows Lodge Committee. Jenna Templeton has suggested the formation of a new committee, I have approved it, and have appointed Jenna as the Chair. The new committee will be called “The Odd Theater Committee” which will form a troupe of performers to entertain us and the community. The possibilities are many. If you are interested in joining this committee and discussing where we go from here, contact Jenna at jtempleton42@gmail.com.
