Dear Members and Pledges,

We have noticed a drop in attendance at our Thursday evening “Club Night at the Lodge” which the Good Fellowship Committee attributes to summertime (vacations, travel, etc.). Accordingly, we are going to try some different things for the remainder of the summer, and we will keep you posted each week!

For this coming Thursday, July 2, Club Night will start at 5 p.m. and will end around 8 p.m. at the Lodge, Lower Hall. But here’s what we are doing that’s different this Thursday:

1. We invite you to bring your own meat or chicken or fish to grill. One of our chefs (probably Chef Jeff this week) will put your meat or chicken or fish on the outdoor grill and prepare it just the way you want it. The Chef will do the grilling for you! In addition, if you want it, for $5 the Chef will have salads and baked potato (with all the fixings) for you.

2. The bar will be open but we will not have a bartender. Wine and beer will be available for purchase for $5 for wine and $5 for beer – we will run our own bar.

3. If we have sufficient turnout, we will play trivia with prizes for the winning teams. Trivia will start around 6:30 p.m. And we will also try to bring some jigsaw puzzles for the puzzle aficionados.

Hope to see you at Club Night this Thursday!
